kinda gross.

I opened facebook the other day and saw that a guy, who I was friendly with in college, had posted this message as their status:

“still searching for a good manhattan maid... does yours need more work? let me know.”

SERIOUSLY?!

Then, the next day, there was a comment below it from a girl I knew in college:

"My maid is coming today...She is very good, very trustworthy (but slow--5-6 hours to clean the apartment)."

WTF? Why are these people advertising that they are looking for help cleaning their own homes. I'm not sure why it bothered me so much - I really have no problem with having a cleaning lady (M. will vouch for this) but this all just seemed so wrong.
