a person should not come with a set of rules.

This just occurred to me.

I hate to use this phrase but in my "line of work," everyone, famous or even just the folks I work with on a daily basis, have a laundry list of rules that come with them: what you can and can't talk to them about, what they will and definitely won't do, what they must have in any given situation, how they should be spoken to, etc. This isn't ok? and why didn't this occur to be earlier!

Oh boy, i must be jaded, disillusioned...I think i was actually starting to believe that this is normal, that this behavior is acceptable and should be accommodated.

I do not want to be someone who comes with a set of rules.
