Aside from the entire thing, one other thing I don't understand about football is the STOP and GO aspect of the game. To me, this is not fun to watch. It's like go go go go go really quickly in the span of 30 seconds then STOP. We all sit around watching what we JUST saw while something is sorted out on the field and old retired football players make small talk called commentary. Then, we do it all over again: go go go go, STOP.
It's like someone flickering the light switch on and off. Either turn the lights on or keep them off. Pick one. It's like watching a movie and pausing after every sentence to repeat with the other moviegoers what has just been said. What is the point?
Let's keep it moving people.
