i have a new job

at the same place.

In a strange twist of events that took place in the span of 12ish hours, i have taken on a new role, a new title, in a new department with new responsibilities. It's a new job.

Though the shock of the change threw me at first, i am really looking forward to doing something new, making a fresh start and seeing where this unexpected path takes me.

My initial reaction was to resist the change. Then i thought about it (and talked to my brudder) and realized that the "path" i was set on taking, was not working, it was not heading where i had envisioned it going and it wasn't making me happy. I'm very lucky that this new opportunity has come to me; I feel surprisingly flexible and open to change and all the possibilities it presents.
