- we did not sign up to receive the magazine, Time Out New York
- i, on principle, dislike that publication because i interned there one summer and found the people to be the opposite of nice
- despite not requesting/paying to recieve this magazine, two (2) copies of Time Out New York have been delivered to us for the past few weeks
- both issues have our address on them, apartment number included, and are addressed to "Kazumi OUR LAST NAME"
- we live next to a nice young girl, a native of Japan, who falls into the magazine's target demographic
- our neighbor's name is Hiroku, not Kazumi
- yesterday, another piece of mail (a flyer from NYU) arrived and was addressed to "Kazumi OUR LAST NAME"
Conclusion:
- our neighbor has nothing to do with this mystery, she just happens to be Japanese and "Kazumi," incidentally, sounds like a Japanese name
- if Kazumi lives with us, i haven't been able to find her yet
- i really don't know what's going on
