It's been too long and i've missed this dear little blog and all of you (mom, dad, the baumer, aunt gail).
Where to begin? Perhaps in list form? A "what i did" with the last few weeks of my life, let's see -
I have five (5) to-go dishes of chicken marsala in my freezer from our glorious rehearsal dinner. Does that make me italian?
I got hitched and made an honest woman of myself.
M. bawled like a baby at the alter!!
After months of laboring over who should marry us and then finally deciding that as long as the officiant remembered both our names during the service, we'd be happy, the cantor forgot my name. Meanwhile, she practically sang M.'s name. Gimme my money back.
By the end of the wedding reception, my gown was more bib than dress.
We successfully served dunkin donuts to our guests and used an oversized ceramic golden retriever as a cake topper without offending my mom.
I was whisked away to one of the most beautiful places on earth and after just two days of living large, I was forced to participate in an emergency evacuation because of omar the hurricane.
We were fortunate that a man, greatly resembling Andy Bernard in both appearance, personality and excruciatingly annoying habits was practically vacationing with us.
While waiting in the bug infested, non air-conditioned St. Kitts airport for two hours, i uttered only one (1) "oy." Progress!
I ate bacon for 5 days straight. I read somewhere that one's heart and thighs are immune to food digested while on one's honeymoon.
Not to worry, M. and I cruised up through the berkshires, chowing down on doughnuts, sipping cider, picking out pumpkins, pointing at florescent colored leaves and cooing at one another. So, you see, we did, in all fairness, visit appalachia along our route. M. is a man of his word!
We received an exquisite new camera that makes a happy little clicking noise when you take a picture. We're grownups, at long last.
We used my parent's house as an inn and they let us stay free! Breakfast included. Frisky doggie, begging for cookies, also included.
More to come, i promise but for now some visuals:
