recap.

oh hello there. here is the recap of my fairly uneventful weekend:

Friday-

I went to a spin class after work then met M. for a play, starring one of his co-workers. I was led astray. The only thing that made the 1 hour 45 minute piece of.. theater bearable was the fact that i had loaded up on various candies before entering.

Saturday -

I got up fairly early and went for a glorious run through brooklyn. saw lots and lots of dogs.
Met my mom at the florist for "final decisions." Surprisingly enjoyable.

Met up with my favorite little friend and dined at our favorite little falafel joint. Delicious food coma followed. we were joined by another wonderful person and spent way too long in a kitchen store where it struck me that we were now old because we found all these kitchen gadgets mystifying.

Went home, feeling exhausted, started to have a bit of a sore throat.

Chugged orange juice and gatorade and swallowed a lot echinacea and zinc but to no avail. Went to sleep feeling crummy.

Sunday-
woke up feeling like crap. barely slept through the night. moaned and complained and then went for a walk with M.

watched the sex and the city movie on dvd. long, drawn out episode. i suppose i missed those gals but they're more delusional than i remember.

moaned and complained some more.

watched my favorite cooking show while M. made homemade pizza.

ate half a pizza.

put on the third dvd of John Adams. Grew weary. I have trouble looking at paul giamatti's face for long periods of time.

fell asleep by 9pm

according to M, moaned and complained in my sleep.
