last night

I was riding the subway last night, fortunate to have a seat after a long day and a spin class, when I noticed that I was completed hunched over. I hadn't realized that I was doing it but i was actually curling my shoulders forward and sort of hanging my head. I quickly pulled my shoulders back, using my "heart center," and as I picked my head up, I swear I saw the woman standing across from me, nod in approval. It took me a second to process that though I was on the L train, it felt like I was in a yoga class and the teacher, this passenger, had directed me to correct my posture and was pleased to see me taking her advice. Upon further inspection, I couldn't help but notice that she looked like a yoga teacher. She was petite but very muscular, no make up and her hair was loose and wavy at her shoulders. She also had feet like a yogi, you know?
I seriously think she WAS a yoga teacher and DID will me to adjust myself and couldn't help but nod, approvingly, when she saw my improvement. It was a strange interaction but not an unpleasant one.
