NY-->LA-->ATL-->NY

All of a sudden, I'm a jet setter!

Tomorrow I leave for LA for a work event. I've never been to LA and though I've been told what to expect (blonds, boobs and big sunglasses), I still feel like I'm going to a foreign country. I'm even packing power bars just in case there is no edible food in California.

After LA, I fly to Atlanta for my brother's med school graduation! It was just yesterday that he was burning bugs in the driveway, building a motorized skateboard and poking my arm in the same spot every day to see how black and blue it would get. Now, he's a DOCTOR and I'm very proud of him for doing what he said he always wanted to do. Apparently, it was either surgery or car mechanics; I would have been happy for him either way.

For as long as I can remember, he has promised that when he became a rich doctor, I could be his secretary and live in his house. Yes, this is what I aspired to do. Now, I'm sorta on the fence about the secretary part just because he gets really cranky if he hasn't been fed and I don't want that happening on my watch. The living in his house part still sounds appealing, if M. is up for it.
